Professional Background:

I have worked in the health-care professions in the UK, Germany & USA for over 30 years . I’ve always been fascinated by how the mind adapts to different situations and authored ‘The Coach’s Mind Manual’ published by Routledge. I run interactive workshops on neuroscience & the mind and I have developed my clinical practice in Brighton (Rock Clinic & Dyke Road Natural Health Clinic).


Professional Qualifications:

I have a PhD in neuropharmacology from Manchester University, a Diploma in Executive Coaching and Organisational Development, an Advanced Diploma in Professional Development from the Gestalt Centre in London and an MA (Middlesex University) in Core-Process Psychotherapy from the Karuna Institute, Devon. I am a UKCP trainee therapist working towards UKCP accreditation.

Personal Style:

I am known as Azmat, my given name. I prefer to allow the therapeutic relationship to unfold at its own pace in a supportive atmosphere building mutual trust & confidence naturally. I have a mixed cultural heritage (Anglo-Asian) and delight in the variety of cultural traditions that enrich our experience as human beings.
